About Col Art
Col Art are an international company who own many high street art product brands some of which include Windsor & Newton, Reeves, Liquitex and Lefranc Bourgeois.
The project
Charbonnel are an art company based in Paris. Their website was minimal and outdated, so the project was to design a new site. The brief required the design to follow the style of existing Col Art sites, whilst ensuring all of the important information was as close to the page fold as possible.
At this point Charbonnel had a logo but no branding. Part of the website design was to create some basic brand guidelines to include fonts, graphic elements and a colour palette that could applied to all website pages and all Charbonnel communications.
Once the branding was established, the next phase was UX and wireframe designs which eventually led onto the final visual mockups and then eventually a set of pixel perfect PSD files which were handed over to the Col Art development team.
At the time of writing the site is currently in development.
