About Pinky Productions

Pinky Productions are a media company with a host of international, blue chip clients which have included Proctor & Gamble, FIFA, Adidas, EDF Energy, Vodafone, Coca Cola, Visa and many more.

They have been creating stunning, cutting-edge promos, documentaries and commercials for over 15 years.

All work had come through network connections and recommendations, but back in 2016, they decided they needed a website to showcase their work, which is where we came in.

Our role

With logo supplied, our task on this project was to design and construct a portfolio website capable of displaying Vimeo videos. The home page features a promotional showreel video, which fills the screen on load.

Once the initial concepts designs were approved, we moved on to building the site, using WordPress as the framework, adding custom code to accommodate bespoke features. We configured the site and populated it with content supplied by the client.

Pinky Productions are now able to upload new videos to their portfolio themselves using the WordPress CMS. The portfolio is fully responsive and uses a combination of CSS and Ajax to resize and respond.

Rob Sumner : Nuideas.

Clean, innovative, creative design for print and digital

Rob Sumner’s background and formal qualifications are in Graphic Design. The early years of his career were spent gaining invaluable experience working as a Graphic Designer for design companies in the north west.

In the mid 1990’s Rob moved from print to web design. To design websites well, Rob wanted to understand how they were constructed so began learning development skills such as PHP, HTML and CSS.

Since then he has continued to learn and advance his skills through courses and work experience, contracting for a wide range of blue chip companies, SMEs and small business clients all over the UK.
