The Cloud UPDRS project is a joint venture to create an app that detect and analyse tremor, gait and tapping in order to assess the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease. The data collected can help understand how the disease affects the individual and help to tailor treatment and medication.
The user logins in to the app on a daily basis and carries out a series of tests which make use of the device’s built in technology.
The app includes video files demonstrating how to use the app and carry out the tests.
The development team behind the UPDRS app had created a working prototype and were at the point where they needed the app styling and branding. The first phase was to create a logo and branding that could be used in the app but also in documentation and other communications.
Working closely with the development team we worked out the user journey and created wireframe designs for graphics and icon placement. Once the wireframe designs were agreed we created a series of mock up designs that went through a QA process before finally being developed into pixel perfect PSD files for the development team to apply to the app’s theme.
